Berea to Richmond, KY Wed June 10, 2015

     From Berea going north up to Richmond it was heavy traffic and rumble strips where there could have been a narrow bike lane  Scary.  And my chain derailed twice.  Not good.  Got to Richmond, got my bike taken care of and then settled in for some much needed rest at a motel.

The white building with the white dome is the Madison County Court House where some 4000 Union soldiers were imprisoned for a while after losing the battle of Richmond to the Confederacy.  It was one of the few major battles of the Civil War won by the South
