Shiprock to Gallup, NM

A pile of rocks neatly fit together
Another pile of rocks neatly wedged together in its own
 The actual Shiprock
The straight and narrow path that leads to another hill to climb
Sometimes you do see a tree in this desolate land
She's not eating dirt.  There are some sprouts of something out there

July 12, 2013 Friday, Day 31 riding, Day 42 of trip.
Longest daily ride yet, 93 miles.  Stopped at convenience stores in Newcomb, Sheep Springs, and Tohatchi.  I now have a better respect for convenience stores.  They do come in handy.
Didn't get to the motel in Gallup until 11:00 pm.  The  last few miles into Gallup had street lights and that really helped,  because it was darker than midnight up a coat sleeve.
